The top 10 posters of the IIP is all nice and dandy. But you can see how boring it could be, the same 10 people would always be there. Unless some addict come in and post like 1000 post a day or one of the top 10 decided to quit or even die (God Forbid) .

I was thinking like , maybe if Dave can come up with something like the system could rank the top 10 posters in accordance to time. Meaning the system should some how take an average of number of posts per month and rank the members accordingly. So who ever post alot in that particular month is being ranked as number one.


You can keep the recent 10 posters, but maybe add the above feature. Trust me, it make users post alot, I guess its psychology thingy

I have thought about this before but decided people would then get upset because their posts had been expired and not counted. Now that the usernames are not stored in the posts it will require a join or two queries and some playing with an array.

Some day I may look into doing this.
